Hi all!
We’ve been super excited to show everyone Angela and Jake’s wedding we did last year (omg that just doesn’t even sound right!) in Fairplay, Colorado. It was the first, and hopefully not the last, out of state wedding that we’ve done. If you ever need to get out of town and get some peace of mind, Fairplay is the place to do it! This quiet little town is nestled deep into the mountains of Colorado. The trees were engorged in fall colors and it was so peaceful!
Angela emailed us about a week before the wedding telling us she had SHINGLES. Every photographer’s (and bride’s for that matter) NIGHTMARE, right?! However, we showed up and you couldn’t even tell. She didn’t let it get her down and just enjoyed her special day!
Jake and Angela chose to do an intimate ceremony at a cabin about 15 minutes from town. It was obvious how deep their love for each other was as they held each other’s hands and said their vows. Everyone was so thrilled with this union, the joy was infectious! We snuck Angela and Jake off to the woods for some bridal party and Bride and Groom portraits shortly after the ceremony, and just wow!! They completely nailed it and we are in love! We are so grateful they chose us to document their beautiful day!
